Surprisingly, a survey after our previous job fair revealed that 25 percent of applicants hesitated to embark on their impact journey due to perceived lack of training. But here’s the secret Rose-May Lucotte, our Chief Operations Officer at ChangeNOW, wants you to know: “Hard skills aren’t the primary entry ticket to this realm. In fact, it’s the soft skills—like passion and dedication—that truly pave the way for growth and transformation on your path”.
Kristy Drutman, Co-Founder of the Green Jobs Board, agreed. She knows the incredible power of adaptability, passion, and curiosity as the foundational stones of a fulfilling impact career. “We’re looking for people who can adapt, who have passion, and who ask questions,” she said.
