SPORT FOR CHANGE
Sport can change everything.
Since the bidding phase, we have embarked on the Paris 2024 adventure with this conviction, which will continue to guide us until the Games and beyond.
"Faced with the environmental, climatic, and social challenges of the 21st century, we are convinced that it is more than ever a time to strengthen the role of sport in society. But for this to happen, sport must also change."

Sports can improve our health, help revitalize our territories and strengthen social ties. When practiced in the middle of nature, it helps us open our eyes to the Living World to which we belong. Every day, sport plays a beneficial role in favor of education, equality between women and men, and a more inclusive society for people with disabilities. Faced with the environmental, climatic, and social challenges of the 21st century, we are convinced that it is more than ever a time to strengthen the role of sport in society.
But for this to happen, sport must also change. At all levels, its impact must be understood and reduced. Sport must set an example and dare to transform itself. This is our vision for Paris 2024 and for a sport that meets the expectations of society and, in particular, of youth.
As the next Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games draw closer every day, we want to continue to share our methods and progress for the legacy of the Games. We want to continue to be inspired by those who are involved on the field, and carry their voice wherever we can.
By participating in the creation of the “Sport for Change” program with the ChangeNOW Summit in Paris, we will help bring together all those who are reinventing sport in France and internationally, and create a dynamic for our Games and beyond.
